Terms and Conditions

UZ Coins ("UZC") are private, community-based digital credits used exclusively within the UNISZone community ecosystem. UZ Coins are internally denominated for convenience and do not represent legal tender, financial assets, stored monetary value, securities, or any form of redeemable currency. UZ Coins are not pegged, backed, or redeemable against any fiat currency or financial asset.

UZ Coins are designed to create a transparent and efficient economy within the UNISZone community where members can:

• View the flow of funds within the system.
• Use coins for community-specific transactions, including purchasing products through the UZ Shop, voting, conducting giveaways related to UNIS, and other approved ecosystem activities.

UZ Coins are exclusively for use within the designated community. They cannot be used, traded, resold, or exchanged outside this ecosystem. External conversion into fiat currency, cryptocurrency, digital wallets, or any third-party financial system is strictly prohibited.

UZ Coins are not investments, securities, profit-generating instruments, or financial products. Members must not expect financial return, appreciation, or profit from holding or using UZ Coins.

UZ Coins are issued through approved community channels, including:

• Participation in community activities and events.
• Community rewards and incentive programs.
• Approved ecosystem transactions, including top-ups funded with real currency.
• Manual allocations by authorized maintainers, such as balance corrections or event prize distributions.

Top-ups allow members to fund their UZ Coin balance using real currency through approved channels. Top-ups are strictly one-directional. UZ Coins acquired through top-ups or any other means cannot be cashed out, converted, or redeemed for real currency or any external monetary equivalent.

The community reserves the right to regulate issuance, circulation, taxation, deduction, expiration, freezing, or removal of UZ Coins to maintain economic balance, fairness, and system stability.

All UZ Coin transactions are recorded in a publicly accessible channel for transparency and accountability.

Only authorized maintainers may modify UZ Coin balances, reverse transactions, impose fees, freeze accounts, or perform any economy-related administrative actions. UZ Coin logs are publicly visible to all community members and serve as the primary transparency record of the ecosystem. Logs are immutable and cannot be edited by any party, including authorized maintainers. Economy records and administrative tooling are accessible only to authorized personnel as determined by community leadership.

UZ Coin transactions are publicly recorded, including usernames, amounts, and transaction details. All transactions are logged consistently per Section 2.3. Personal sensitive data will not be publicly disclosed.

Authorized maintainers may audit transactions to prevent fraud, abuse, or system manipulation.

Personal data linked to UZ Coin transactions will be handled in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012).

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Use of alternate accounts to exploit the system.
• Artificial inflation or manipulation of transactions.
• Exploiting bugs or system loopholes.
• Fraudulent or deceptive behavior in any ecosystem transaction.
• Circumvention of taxes, fees, or economy rules.

Violations may result in balance adjustments, transaction reversal, suspension, or permanent removal from the ecosystem.

The UZ Shop allows members to purchase goods or services exclusively using UZ Coins. UZ Coins are the sole accepted transaction medium within the UZ Shop. Members may use their existing UZ Coin balance for any purchase. Members who do not have sufficient balance may acquire additional UZ Coins through an approved top-up using real currency. Real currency cannot be used to purchase UZ Shop items directly.

Physical orders placed through the UZ Shop are handled and fulfilled by designated fulfillment personnel responsible for logistics and delivery coordination. The buyer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information. Any errors in the delivery address or details provided by the buyer that result in failed, delayed, or misdelivered orders are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping fees apply to physical orders where applicable. Upon purchase, a ticket is created by the buyer and verified by authorized personnel. Designated fulfillment personnel will then assess the buyer's delivery location and calculate the applicable shipping fee. The buyer will be informed of the shipping fee amount and must settle it separately before the order proceeds to fulfillment. Shipping fees are to be shouldered entirely by the buyer and are separate from the UZC price of the item. Shipping fees are subject to change depending on the courier and delivery location.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, the community and its fulfillment personnel are not liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to parcels in transit.
• Delivery delays caused by the courier or external circumstances.
• Failed deliveries resulting from incorrect buyer-provided information.

The community will assist members in following up with the courier where possible, but this assistance does not constitute liability or a guarantee of resolution. Disputes regarding lost, damaged, or delayed parcels must be raised directly with the courier.

All refunds, where eligible, are issued exclusively in UZ Coins. No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Refund eligibility is subject to the following conditions:

• Customized, personalized, or partially fulfilled orders are non-refundable.
• Orders that have entered processing or fulfillment may not be eligible for a full refund.
• Refunds will not be granted for orders cancelled due to buyer inactivity per Section 4.7.
• Refund requests must be submitted to authorized personnel within a reasonable timeframe following the transaction.
• If a failure to deliver is determined to be caused by designated fulfillment personnel, and no delivery update has been provided within 3 to 5 days of the buyer settling the shipping fee, a refund may be issued at the discretion of authorized personnel.

All refund decisions are at the discretion of authorized personnel and are final.

The UZ Shop is operated and managed by designated personnel. Designated personnel are responsible for ensuring that listed items are accurately described and that orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner. Members who encounter discrepancies between listed and received items must report the issue to authorized personnel.

Members must maintain reasonable communication during active orders. Failure to respond to follow-ups within 7 to 14 days may result in automatic cancellation of the order. Upon cancellation:

• Orders may be voided.
• Unclaimed physical items will be returned to stock.
• Refunds will not be issued for orders cancelled due to buyer inactivity.

Any suspected fraudulent activity, order manipulation, abuse of the UZ Shop, or misuse of UZ Coins must be reported immediately to authorized personnel. Verified abuse may result in order cancellation, balance adjustment, suspension, or permanent removal from the ecosystem.

Members are responsible for securing their accounts and credentials.

Members must comply with these terms, community guidelines, and instructions issued by authorized maintainers.

Any misuse, unauthorized transactions, system issues, or shop-related concerns must be reported to authorized personnel promptly.

UZ Coins are not legal tender, electronic money, cryptocurrency, or financial instruments.

UZ Coins have no value outside the UNISZone ecosystem.

The community shall not be held responsible for losses, disputes, or damages resulting from use or misuse of UZ Coins, including losses arising from courier handling, delivery failures, or third-party service disruptions.

The community does not guarantee value, purchasing power, or continued availability of UZ Coins. System features, shop listings, and mechanics may change at any time without prior notice.

These terms may be revised periodically to reflect changes in the system or community policies.

Continued use of UZ Coins after amendments constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these terms or misuse of UZ Coins.

If the UZ Coin system is suspended, reset, or discontinued, the community will determine how remaining balances and transactions will be handled.
