Terms and Conditions

1.1 Definition

UZ Coins ("UZ") are private, community-based tokens with a fixed value of 1 Peso (₱1) = 1 UZ.

1.2 Purpose

UZ Coins are designed to create a transparent and efficient economy within the UNISZone community where members can:

• View the flow of funds within the system.
• Use their coins for community-specific transactions, including purchasing products, voting, conducting giveaways related to UNIS, and utilizing the UZ Shop.

1.3 Scope of Use

UZ Coins are exclusively for use within the designated community. They cannot be used or exchanged outside this ecosystem.

2.1 Distribution

UZ Coins are issued through approved community channels, such as participation in activities, purchases, or allocations from the community administrators.

2.2 Limitations

The community reserves the right to limit the issuance or circulation of UZ Coins to maintain a balanced economy.

2.3 Transparency

All UZ Coin transactions are recorded in a publicly accessible channel to ensure transparency and accountability.

3.1 Transaction Visibility

UZ Coin transactions will be publicly recorded to maintain transparency, while ensuring personal data privacy.

3.2 Audit Rights

The community reserves the right to audit UZ Coin transactions to prevent misuse or fraudulent activities.

3.3 Privacy Compliance

Personal data linked to UZ Coin transactions will remain confidential and handled in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012).

4.1 Marketplace Scope

The community marketplace allows members to buy and sell goods or services exclusively using UZ Coins within the ecosystem.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

External trading or conversion of UZ Coins into fiat currency or other currencies is strictly prohibited.

4.3 Dispute Resolution

The community is not responsible for disputes arising between buyers and sellers. All transactions must adhere to marketplace rules and community guidelines.

5.1 Account Security

Members are responsible for securing their UZ Coin accounts and associated credentials.

5.2 Compliance

Members must adhere to these terms, community guidelines, and any applicable laws.

5.3 Reporting Issues

Any misuse, unauthorized transactions, or technical issues must be reported to UZ moderators.

6.1 Non-Monetary Nature

UZ Coins are not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for fiat currency or other digital currencies outside the community.

6.2 Use Restrictions

UZ Coins are strictly for community use and have no value beyond the designated ecosystem.

6.3 Liability Waiver

The community shall not be held responsible for losses or damages resulting from the use or misuse of UZ Coins.

7.1 Updates to Terms

These terms may be revised periodically to reflect changes in the UZ Coin system or community policies. Members will be notified of significant updates.

7.2 Acceptance of Updates

Continued use of UZ Coins after amendments constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

8.1 Suspension of Accounts

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these terms or misuse of UZ Coins.

8.2 System Discontinuation

If the UZ Coin system is discontinued, the community will communicate how remaining balances will be addressed.
